Filippo Palacino is a Partner at ETH Zurich, where he is a Mathematics student. Given his very scientific background, he contributes to the goals of Focus Finance by adding a more quantitative perspective to different teams. Third-year student, member of Swiss Mathematical Society and Swiss Physical Society, he developed through the years a particular interest in the applications of mathematics in finance. His first working experiences were as a Junior Consultant at Deloitte Milan and as a Junior Analyst at Insight Investment London. Later, he specialized in acquiring, observing and structuring data, and added consistent value to a large variety of fields, from which Italian Military Air Force weather forecasts, digital marketing and financial portfolio management. Multiculturally educated, Filippo speaks fluently English, Italian and German, and knows some basic Spanish.
