Dylan's leadership drives the vision and culture of Focus Finance. He directs our leadership team setting ambitios goals and supporting growth. Dylan has taken lead of the US expansion and is recruiting new candidates at elite US universities as well as other prestigious schools around the world. Dylan is also co-heading the volunteer initiative at Focus Finance, with a mission to use our network of students to serve as a bridge for students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to succeed in finance . 

 

Dylan is a second-year business student concentrating in Finance and Real Estate, he is a member of the Stern Real Estate Group student organization. Dylan speaks some Chinese and has spent time living in Beijing and Singapore. In Singapore he worked at Global Logistics Properties where he created new models for multi-billion dollar development funds around the globe, wrote press releases and led the internal relations for a major international joint venture.

 

Moreover, Dylan has worked as an Investment Team Intern at the activist real estate hedge fund Land and Buildings Investment Management since May of 2019. While working at the hedge fund he creates NAV models, participates on the front lines of activist campaigns, and created a technical screener to identify momentum and reversal opportunities in the funds coverage universe.

 

Dylan was a Spring 2020 Intern on the public markets Real Estate team at the private equity firm Angelo Gordon, where he identified opportunities in distressed real estate as the result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Most recently Dylan is spending the summer of 2020 participating in graduate level research with the NYU Schack School of Real Estate and their Urban Lab. Dylan is conducting primary research on 5G technology and Edge Computing, devising hypotheses on how the infrastructure for these technologies will be built out as well as the many use cases for them in commercial real estate
