Daniel M. Cashdan III is a Real Estate Analyst at Focus Finance and a current sophomore at NYU Shanghai studying Finance and Chinese. He is active in NYU Shanghai student life, holds a student position within the office of admissions, leads the university’s largest student organization “Green Shanghai”, as well as leads the investment group within NYUSH’s TAMID. Daniel first became involved with Focus Finance when he spearheaded a partnership with the Focus Finance Trends Report team. Daniel is also a researcher at the Schack Institute of Real Estate’s REIT Center and focusing on the emerging C-REIT market. His key professional experience includes internships in Beijing, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles where he spent time CINDAT Capital Management, the Urban Land Institute, and the UN Global Smart Cities initiative respectively. He intends to pursue his career in the SINO-US capital markets.
