Trustpilot is eying an IPO and is expected to go public in 2021. It is planning to list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and raise $50 million in proceeds, valuing the company at $ 1.4 billion.
Trustpilot is a Denmark-based consumer review website founded in 2007. It collects approximately 1 million reviews per month. It also operates a premium business charging companies to display “Trustbox” badge in exchange for review verification.
Its revenues have been growing at 39% per annum since 2014 as the rise of e-commerce has forced companies to increase their online presence. Trustpilot's IPO would follow other high-profile IPOs in the UK such Dr Martins and Moonpig.
Companies are capitalizing on the “hot IPO market” and investors appetite to raise capital in the public markets.
