PoC device and Cellular booster manufacturer Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ: SYTA) has purchased ClearRF in an effort to acquire several key technologies for which the latter holds patents.
Siyata’s main customers include first responders and military personnel using their devices in situations where clear communication is critical. The technologies it will acquire from ClearRF will measurably improve these capabilities.
For example, it will acquire RF Passive Bypass technology which enables tethered devices to communicate through the amplifier network, even if the amplifier loses power.
An added benefit is that ClearRF already uses an American manufacturer to construct its products, which will help it win government contracts which require the devices to be made in America.
The deal will also immediately be accretive to net income, boosting the company’s bottom line.
