London Stock Exchange (LSE) Group has announced that it may sell part or all of Borsa Italiana, Italy's only stock exchange. The sale would help LSE get regulatory approval from the EU for its $27B acquisition of Refinitiv.

"We expect to close the transaction [Refinitiv deal] by the end of the year or in early 2021."
